Roucheria is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Linaceae.[1]

Its native range is Nicaragua to southern Tropical America. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil (northern, north-eastern and west-central), Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Nicaragua, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.[1]

The genus name of Roucheria is in honour of Jean-Antoine Roucher (1745–1794), a French poet.[2] It was first described and published in London J. Bot. Vol.6 on page 141 in 1847.[1]

Roucheria es un género con quince especies de plantas con flores perteneciente a la familia Linaceae. Fue descrita por Jules Emile Planchon y publicado en London Journal of Botany 6: 142 en el año 1847. LT designated by Bentham in Bentham & J. D. Hooker, Gen. 1: 244 ( 1862). Su especie tipo es Roucheria calophylla Planch.[1]
