Pseudovanilla, commonly known as giant climbing orchids, is a genus of eight climbing orchids in the family Orchidaceae. Orchids in this genus have tall climbing stems with clinging roots, leaf-like bracts and branching flowering stems with colourful, spreading sepals and petals. Species in the genus are native to Indonesia, the Philippines, New Guinea, Australia, Solomons, Micronesia and Fiji.[1][2]

Pseudovanilla,[1] es un género de orquídeas de hábitos terrestres. Se compone de ocho especies, a menudo endémica de zonas restringidas, distribuidas por Australasia y Pacífico, se encuentran en los bosques densos y húmedos, por lo general, en lugares donde hay muchas plantas y abundante material orgánico en descomposición. Esta preferencia se debe al hecho de que viven en íntima asociación con hongos micorrizas.
