Taxinomie
Les genres Hyladactylus[3] et Plectropus[4] ont été placés en synonymie avec Kaloula par Steindachner en 1867[5], Holonectes[6] par Cope en 1867[7] et Cacopoides[8] par Barbour en 1909[9].
