• Apoxyptilus anthites (Meyrick, 1936), which is known from Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda
• Apoxyptilus steineri Gielis, 2011 (from Madagascar)
• Apoxyptilus uzumarus Kovtunovich & Ustjuzhanin, 2014 (from Malawi)
