Distribuzione e habitat
Ignote, è stato per ora descritto per ambienti scogliosi con sabbia del mar Adriatico a profondità tra i 10 ed i 40 m in associazione a Gobius vittatus, Parablennius rouxi e Thorogobius macrolepis. Recentemente la sua presenza è stata riportata nella costa ionica siciliana[2]
Descrizione
Ha il corpo cosparso di linee di punti di vivo color arancio, nove macchie di colore arancio più carico sui fianchi ed una macchia nera sulla prima pinna dorsale.
Biologia
Ignote. La specie è stata descritta solo nel 2000.

Gobius kolombatovici is a species of goby native to the northern Adriatic Sea where it occurs at depths of from 15 to 38 metres (49 to 125 ft) in areas with patches of rock and softer sediments. This species can reach a length of 9.2 centimetres (3.6 in) SL.[2] The specific name honours the Croatian mathematician, naturalist and taxonomist Juraj Kolombatovic (1843-1908), who carried out extensive work on the small inshore fishes of the Adriatic Sea.[3][es] Gobius kolombatovici
