Etimología


El término heterachne deriva de las voces griegas ἕτερος [jéteros] ('diferente, otro') y ἄχνη [ájni] ('cascarilla, raspa, granzas, paja'),[2] refiriéndose a los diferentes lemas: proximales (femeninos fértiles) y distales (estériles).
