Androlepis skinneri is a plant species native to southern Mexico (Veracruz, Chiapas, Tabasco) and Central America (Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua).[1][2][3][4] This is one of the few Bromelioideae species that is dioecious.[5]

Androlepis es un género monotípico de plantas con flores de la familia Bromeliaceae. Su única especie, Androlepis skinneri (K.Koch) Brongn. ex Houllet, Rev.
