Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique de Chine[1]. Elle se rencontre dans des grottes au Yunnan et au Guizhou[2].
Description
La femelle holotype mesure 1,42 mm[3].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été décrite sous le protonyme Pholcomma yunnanense par Song et Zhu en 1994.
L'espèce Trogloneta denticocleari[4] a été placée en synonymie avec Trogloneta yunnanense par Li et Lin en 2019 [2]
Étymologie
Son nom d'espèce, composé de yunnan et du suffixe latin -ense, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, le Yunnan.
