Les Trechnotheria (tréchnothériens) sont un groupe de mammifères qui comprend les thériens et certains mammifères fossiles de l'ère mésozoïque. Du Jurassique au Crétacé, le groupe était endémique à l’Asie et l’Afrique[1].

Taxons de rang inférieur

Les Tréchnothériens se sont vu attribuer différents grades, mais son auteur l'a, à l'origine, qualifiée de super-légion[2]. Une référence a défini le taxon Trechnotheria comme étant un clade comprenant le dernier ancêtre commun de Zhangheotherium et des mammifères thériens vivants, ainsi que tous leurs descendants[3].
