Tarsonemidae es una familia de ácaros.[1] La mayoría de las especies se alimentan de hongos con micelios de paredes finas. Unas pocas especies se alimentan de plantas superiores y solo en brotes tiernos, antes de que las paredes celulares se hagan más fuertes.

Tarsonemidae  (лат.) — семейство паразитических тромбидиформных клещей из подотряда Prostigmata. Более 500 видов[1]. Включает фитофагов, микофагов и паразитов насекомых, в том числе, опасных паразитов медоносных пчёл (Acarapis woodi)[2][3].
