Distribution
Cette espèce se rencontre en Éthiopie dans la zone Borena et la région Sidama[1], en Somalie dans les régions de Gedo, de Jubbada Hoose, de Shabeellaha Hoose et de Shabeellaha Dhexe et au Kenya[2].
Description
La femelle holotype mesure 112 mm[3].
Les mâles mesurent de 98,9 à 123,4 mm et les femelles de 95,4 à 111,8 mm[2].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été décrite sous le protonyme Pandinus militaris par Pocock en 1900. Elle est placée en synonymie avec Pandinoides cavimanus par Kovařík en 2002[4]. Elle est relevée de synonymie par Prendini en 2016[2].
