Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique du ǁKaras en Namibie[1]. Elle se rencontre vers Karasburg et Kuibis.
Description
Le mâle holotype mesure 62 mm[2].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été placée en synonymie avec Opistophthalmus opinatus par Lamoral en 1979[3]. Elle est relevée de synonymie par Prendini en 2001[1].
