Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique des îles Galápagos[1]. Elle se rencontre sur Pinta, Santiago, Santa Fé, Española et Floreana[2].
Description
La femelle holotype mesure 3,35 mm[3].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été décrite par Platnick et Shadab en 1976.
Neozimiris santiago[4] a été placée en synonymie par Baert en 1994[5].
Étymologie
Son nom d'espèce lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, Pinta.
