Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique du Sabah en Malaisie. Elle se rencontre sur le Gunung Sabah[1].
Description
Le mâle holotype mesure 4,67 mm[2].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été décrite sous le protonyme Stylocellus sabah par Shear en 1993. Elle est placée dans le genre Miopsalis par Clouse et Giribet en 2012[3].
Étymologie
Son nom d'espèce lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, le Gunung Sabah.
