Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique du Tamil Nadu en Inde[1],[2]. Elle se rencontre dans le district de Salem.
Description
Les mâles mesurent de 35,7 à 45,9 mm et les femelles de 39,8 à 53,8 mm[3].
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été décrite par Pocock en 1893.
Étymologie
Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur d'Edgar Thurston[4].
