Distribution
Cette espèce est endémique du Congo-Brazzaville[1]. Elle se rencontre vers Meya.
Systématique et taxinomie
Cette espèce a été décrite sous le protonyme Ideobisium baloghi par Mahnert en 1978. Elle est placée dans le genre Ideoblothrus par Muchmore en 1982[2].
