Acipenser dabryanus

L'esturgeon du Yang Tsé (Acipenser dabryanus) est une espèce de poissons de la famille des Acipenseridae. Il est endémique du fleuve Yangzi en Chine.

Alimentation

Il se nourrit de plantes aquatiques, d'invertébrés et de petits poissons[1].

Reproduction

Ils atteignent la maturité sexuelle entre 4 et 8 ans. La période de frai se déroule entre mars et avril, parfois entre novembre et décembre. La femelle pond de 57 000 à 102 000 œufs[1].

[en] Dabry's sturgeon

Dabry's sturgeon (Acipenser dabryanus), also known as the Yangtze sturgeon, Chiangjiang sturgeon and river sturgeon, is a species of fish in the sturgeon family, Acipenseridae.[5] It is endemic to China and today restricted to the Yangtze River basin,[1] but was also recorded from the Yellow River basin in the past.[6][7] It was a food fish of commercial importance. Its populations declined drastically, and since 1988, it was designated an endangered species on the Chinese Red List in Category I and commercial harvest was banned.[5][1] It has been officially declared extinct in the wild by the IUCN as of July 21, 2022. [1]

Корейский осётр[1] (лат. Acipenser dabryanus)[2] — относительно небольшая пресноводная рыба рода осетры. Эндемик Китая, обитает только в реке Янцзы. По-видимому, в дикой природе полностью исчез из-за строительства плотин гидроэлектростанций, перелова и загрязнения Янцзы и её притоков. Разводится в неволе китайскими учёными на специально созданном рыбозаводе, однако выпуски в реку выращенной молоди рыбы пока нерезультативны (предположительно из-за загрязнения реки промстоками), размножения в реке не отмечено[3].
