Atrophaneura aristolochiae est une espèce de lépidoptère appartenant à la famille des Papilionidae.

Il est largement répandu en Asie du Sud et du Sud-Est surtout après la mousson.

La chenille se nourrit sur les Aristoloches.

[ru] Pachliopta aristolochiae

Pachliopta aristolochiae (лат.) — вид дневных бабочек из семейства парусников (Papilionidae). Широко распространён в Южной и Юго-Восточной Азии. В Индии это обычный вид, не требующий специальных мер охраны. Известен под местным названием «обыкновенная роза» («common rose»). Средних размеров бабочки в основном чёрного цвета с красными и белыми отметинам, с удлинёнными узкими задними крыльями с длинными широкими хвостиками. Гусеницы питаются растениями рода Кирказон (Aristolochia). Для защиты от хищников они способны накапливать в своих телах токсичную аристолохиевую кислоту из растений, которыми питаются.
