Corythoxestis sunosei is a moth of the family Gracillariidae, known from Japan (Kyūshū)[1] and China.[2]

The wingspan is 4.4-6.7 mm.[3]
The host plants for the species are Adina pilulifera, Mussaenda parviflora,[4] Mussaenda esquirolii and Uncaria rhynchophylla.[1] The larvae mine the leaves of their host plant.
