Aphanostola intercepta is a species of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1932. It is found in Bihar in eastern India.[1]

The wingspan is about 6 mm. The forewings are light greyish ochreous, irrorated (sprinkled) with grey. The hindwings are grey.
Adults were reared from larvae found feeding on Abrus precatorius.[2]
